Three Wardrobe Questions You Need To Ask
A wardrobe full of clothes but nothing to wear?
You are certainly not alone. We wear just 20% of our wardrobe, 80% of the time.
Your wardrobe tells a story, and it’s the story of your life. Yet, we often get waylaid by buying for a fantasy life rather than understanding that the most functional wardrobe is based on our current lifestyle needs.
Picture this. A perfectly curated closet full of pieces that inspire and elevate you, allowing you to show up as the best version of yourself, even when there is no occasion. That doesn’t need to be an unrealistic fantasy. Ask yourself these three simple questions and write down your answers to get the most out of your styling sessions:
1: How would you describe your perfect personal style?
Take a moment to consider the image you want to project to the world and write down the descriptive words that first come to mind?
2: How would you describe your current style?
Outward style is your ultimate form of self-expression and personal creativity. Write down how you currently feel about your clothes. Now check if those words align with your answers to the first question. Are you consciously communicating your true personality through your clothes?
3: What items in your wardrobe do you wear repeatedly?
Despite your bulging wardrobe, it’s likely you probably only wear the same five to ten pieces. Make a list of the outfits you consistently rotate. Then I can teach you fun yet functional ways to mix up those looks. Or add further pieces to elevate them and create a real impact without replacing your entire wardrobe.
